Clarke (adductor) has yet to resume running or hitting, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Clarke suffered a new right adductor strain while on a rehab assignment in mid-August. While the Athletics say he’s made progress since then, he is not close to a return. The rookie outfielder has been shelved since late July.
