Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo tells how he feels about the team’s fans and their support during the 2024 MLB postseason race.
The 2024 MLB season is taking October baseball pretty literally, for when the calendar strikes spooky season, the MLB postseason gets going the same day. With only three days until the end of the regular season, the teams participating in this year’s playoffs are still not set in stone.
The Minnesota Twins, Seattle Mariners, and Atlanta Braves are all currently outside the playoff bubble looking in with shots to claim a postseason berth during the final weekend of the season. Even if one of those teams can squeak into the playoffs though, they’ll be met with tough tests in the wild card round, likely facing either the Houston Astros in the American League or the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League.
