Parker Messick struck out six over seven shoutout innings for his first win in the majors, and Kyle Manzardo drove in the go-ahead run as the Cleveland Guardians snapped their six-game losing streak, beating the visiting Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 on Aug. 26.

Manzardo and Brayan Rocchio each had RBI singles and Bo Naylor added a sacrifice fly in the first, putting the Guardians up by three and ending their 28-inning scoreless streak that began Aug. 22 at the Texas Rangers.

Yandy Diaz went 3-for-4, and Chandler Simpson and Carson Williams had one hit apiece for Tampa Bay, which had its three-game winning streak end.
