The Seattle Mariners, the Greater Seattle Korean Association (GSKA), The Korea Times, and the Korean Community Service Center of Seattle are partnering together to celebrate Korean Heritage Night on September 13 at T-Mobile Park. The Mariners will be facing off against the Los Angeles Angels.

“Korean Heritage Night is more than just a baseball game—it’s a celebration of culture, unity, and community pride,” Sam Sim, Vice President of the Greater Seattle Korean Association said. “It brings together not only Koreans but the broader AAPI community to share our traditions, strengthen connections, and showcase the vibrant contributions we make to the Pacific Northwest.”

While the last Korean Heritage Night was back in May of 2024 during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, this year’s celebration is unique as tickets purchased for specific sections will include a special Mariners-themed T-shirt written in Korean.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here. Sections 115, 116, and 117 are going for about $62, while sections 316 and 318 are going for $35.50. While supplies last, bring your ticket from these sections to section 306 to redeem your T-shirt. Those with tickets in these sections will also be entered into a random drawing to win a round-trip ticket to Incheon, Korea, sponsored by Asiana Airlines.

Additionally, every Main Level ticket sold will contribute $10 to the GSKA. The non-profit is dedicated to serving the Korean-American community in Seattle and across Washington state to “build a stronger Korean community through culture, education, public service, and stronger ties with mainstream society.”

The GSKA recently held a multi-cultural soccer tournament called the Green Earth Cup to promote this greater sense of community.
