ANAHEIM, Calif. – Major League Baseball today announced the 2026 regular season schedule. The Angels will begin their 66th season with Opening Day on Thursday, March 26 at Houston. It will mark the earliest Opening Day in Angels history, breaking the previous mark from earlier this year on March 27, 2025 at Chicago (A.L.). 

This will be the Angels fourth consecutive year beginning a season on the road and the eighth road opener since 2017. Additionally, it will be the second time the Angels begin a season against the Astros, after starting the 2022 campaign vs. Houston at Angel Stadium. The opening road trip features four games at Houston and three against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, including the Cubs Home Opener on March 30.

The Angels will host the Seattle Mariners in the Home Opener at Angel Stadium on Friday, April 3. It will be the Angels first Home Opener vs. Seattle since 2020. The Halos six-game opening homestand will have three games vs. Seattle (April 3-5) and three vs. Atlanta (April 6-8). Overall, the Angels 2026 schedule features 13 total homestands and 14 road trips.

The Angels longest homestand of the 2026 regular season will feature 10 games in 10 days against the Dodgers (May 15-17), Athletics (May 18-21) and Rangers (May 22-24). The Halos will also have a nine-game homestand across 10 days against the Guardians (Aug. 24-26), Phillies (Aug. 28-30) and Yankees (Aug. 31 – Sept. 2). 

The longest road trip of the year will be nine games in 10 days at Pittsburgh (Sept. 4-6), Boston (Sept. 7-9) and Washington (Sept. 11-13). The regular season will conclude on Sept. 27 at Seattle, which will be the first time the Angels finish the year away from Angel Stadium since 2022 at Oakland.

In Freeway Series action, the Angels will host the Dodgers for three games from May 15-17 and will visit Dodger Stadium for three games from June 5-7. Overall, the Angels will play 48 Interleague games next year, including the six games against the Dodgers and three games against each of the other 14 National League teams. 

The home Interleague schedule features visits from the Atlanta Braves (April 6-8), San Diego Padres (April 17-19), New York Mets (May 1-3), Colorado Rockies (June 1-3), St. Louis Cardinals (July 20-22), Milwaukee Brewers (July 31 – Aug. 2) and Philadelphia Phillies (Aug. 28-30). The road Interleague schedule features trips to play the Chicago Cubs (March 30 – April 1), Cincinnati Reds (April 10-12), Arizona Diamondbacks (June 15-17), San Francisco Giants (July 24-26), Miami Marlins (Aug. 7-9), Pittsburgh Pirates (Sept. 4-6) and Washington Nationals (Sept. 11-13).
