The Brewers have rebounded “against the trend of declining attendance over the past few years” as the team has had a “surge of summer winning and well-orchestrated events” to help, according to JR Radcliffe of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. Through 66 home games, the team is up to 32,119 fans per game, a mark that surpasses the final figures from any post-pandemic season. The Brewers, ranked 17th in MLB by the start of July, are now up to 13th. The Brewers have seen a “bump in interest” thanks to P Jacob Misiorowski, plus a pair of double-digit winning streaks and the best record in baseball. In the Brewers’ attendance figures from last year, three of the top 11 single-game marks came in September. Of course, the team is “well on their way to a playoff spot, presumably boosting interest into the final month of the regular season.” The Brewers’ top attended game of the season came on Aug. 8 with 43,469 fans against the Mets. The Brewers have hosted 17 games clearing 40,000 fans, and 12 of those have come in late July or August (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 8/26).
