JoJo Romero pitched a clean inning, allowing one hit and no runs or walks in Thursday’s win over the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s appearance, Romero has a 2.25 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and five saves across 48 innings. He has been solid since taking over the closer’s role. All five of his saves have come since, and he has a 2.84 ERA in that time. He should get most of the Cardinals’ saves the rest of the way.
