The Mariners announced several moves Monday morning, with the addition of Ford and release of veteran first baseman Donovan Solanco the most notable. Here are each of the roster moves Seattle made:
• C Harry Ford selected from Triple-A Tacoma.
• RHP Luke Jackson selected from Tacoma.
• IF Leo Rivas recalled from Tacoma.

He signed a minor league contract with the Mariners on Aug. 21 and allowed two earned runs with four strikeouts and no walks over 2 1/2 innings with Tacoma. He has a career 4.27 ERA with 28 saves in MLB play.
The switch-hitting Rivas, 27, played 30 games for Seattle earlier this year, hitting .283 (17 for 60) with a .411 on-base mark. In 66 Triple-A games this year, he is hitting .318 with 10 home runs, 46 RBIs, 24 steals and a .978 OPS.
