Kansas City royals pitcher Michael Wacha and his wife, Sarah Wacha, announced the birth of their second child on Monday with some of the cutest baby photos in all of MLB.
“Our newest addition! Thomas ‘Tommy’ Joseph Wacha joined our family on 8.28 weighing 8lbs 10oz and 20.5in long!” read their joint announcement on Instagram.
“He is named after special people in our families, just like his big sister, Marcia! We love you so much, baby Tommy!!!”
This year has been especially fruitful for the Royals off the field with several players and their partners having had babies or still expecting. Sarah Wacha went public with her pregnancy in March.
In July, players’ wives threw a baby shower at Kauffman Stadium for Wacha, two other pregnant wives and three who had recently given birth.
