BALTIMORE (KLTV) – Former Mount Pleasant Tiger Michael Kopech tossed a scoreless inning of relief in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Friday.
The right-hander entered the game in the eighth inning.
Kopech forced Gunnar Henderson to fly out to center field for the first out of the inning. Kopech got Ryan Mountcastle looking on strikes and forced Colton Cowser to ground out for the 1-2-3 inning.
Kopech threw 13 pitches, with 10 of them being strikes.
The Dodgers and Orioles continue their series Saturday night.
