CLEVELAND, Ohio — This is a preview of the four-game series between the Guardians and Royals.

Where: Progressive Field, Monday through Thursday.

TV/radio: CLEGuardians.TV will carry the games on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. FOX will televise Thursday’s game. WTAM 1100, WMMS 100.7 FM, WARF and the Guardians radio network will carry the series.

Probable starters and start time times: RHP Slade Cecconi (5-6, 4.78) vs. RHP Ryan Bergert (2-1, 2.61) Monday at 6:40 p.m.; LHP Joey Cantillo (4-3, 3.73) vs. LHP Noah Cameron (7-6, 3.03) Tuesday at 6:40 p.m.; LHP Logan Allen (7-11, 4.46) vs. RHP Michael Wacha (9-11, 4.45) Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. and RHP Gavin Williams (10-5, 3.17) vs. RHP Stephen Kolek (5-5, 3.88) Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Series: The Guardians lead, 5-4, this season. Cleveland leads, 430-377, overall.

Royals update (73-70): They lost the series finale to Twins on Sunday to end a three-game winning streak. They are two games behind Seattle for the third wild card spot. Maikel Garcia .444 (12 for 27) with three homers and eight RBI and Bobby Witt .303 (10 for 13) with one homer and four RBI have hit the Guardians well this season. Cameron is 1-0 and Wacha is 0-1 against the Guards this season.

Guardians update (72-70): They’re coming off a seven-game trip in which they went 1-2 against the Red Sox and 3-1 against the Rays. Sunday’s win kept them 2 1/2 games behind Seattle for the wild card spot with 20 games to play. Gabriel Arias .393 (11 for 28) with four homers and eight RBI and Kyle Manzardo .333 (8 for 24) with two homers and seven RBI have hit the Royals well this year. Williams has made two starts against the Royals this year, both ending in no-decisions.

Royals: RHP Seth Lugo (back), INF Jonathan India (left wrist), RHP Steve Cruz (right shoulder), RHP Hunter Harvey (right adductor strain), LHP Cole Ragans (left shoulder), LHP Bailey Falter (left biceps bruise), RHP Alex Marsh (right shoulder), LHP Kris Bubic (left shoulder) and RHP James McArthur (right elbow) SS Witt (back) is day to day.

Guardians: RHP Nic Enright (right forearm), OF Lane Thomas (plantar fasciitis), RHP Andrew Walters (right lat), OF Will Brennan (right elbow), RHP Ben Lively (right elbow), RHP Trevor Stephan (right elbow), LHP John Means (left elbow) and LHP Sam Hentges (left shoulder) are on the injured list.
