The No. 2 FSU Seminoles are set to play their final series of the 2025 college baseball regular season this weekend, but news about the 2026 season is already coming out. On Thursday, it was announced that the Seminoles will play in the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series from Feb. 20-22 at Globe Life Field.

They will be joined by the Auburn Tigers, Kansas State Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Michigan Wolverines, and Nebraska Cornhuskers in the tournament. It is FSU’s first time playing at Globe Life Field, the home of the Texas Rangers. Matchups and game times will be announced later but it seems unlikely that FSU would play Louisville, an ACC opponent.

It is a loaded field of competitors with FSU (No. 2), Auburn (No. 6), and Louisville (No. 21) all ranked in D1Baseball’s top 25. Michigan and Nebraska are the only two teams not projected to make the 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

It will be the second time the Seminoles are playing in a neutral-site series under head coach Link Jarrett. They played in the First Pitch Invitation in Greenville, South Carolina, during the 2024 season. They beat Michigan State, Illinois, and Western Michigan.

FSU will conclude the regular season this weekend against the No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels at Dick Howeser Stadium. The first game is set to start Friday at 7 p.m. ET and will be on the ACC Network.
