AND THEN WE COME RIGHT OVER HERE AND THEY SAY THE CAR SLID. SO THAT’S WHERE IT WENT. IT WAS AIRBORNE AND IT ENDED UP LANDING OVER THERE. THEN THE CAR SLID INTO THE FLOWER WAGON SO WE CAN SEE THAT IT DAMAGED THAT HANDICAP SIGN. THIS PARKING BARRIER. AND THEY SAY THAT THE WHEEL ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH THAT WINDOW RIGHT OVER THERE. AND THEN YOU CAN SEE THE DAMAGED BUILDING. IT ALSO, IF WE COME OVER HERE, WE CAN SEE SOME OF THE SHOPPING CARTS THAT IT COMPLETELY MANGLED, DESTROYING A LOT OF THIS BUSINESS. AND THE MAN ON YOUR SCREEN RIGHT NOW IS WHO POLICE SAY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. THEY SAY 22 YEAR OLD JORDAN VOLKER LED POLICE ON THIS CHASE THIS MORNING AROUND 1230, AFTER HE STOLE A BLUE FORD TRUCK NEAR NORTHWEST END IN LANCASTER CITY. OFFICERS SAY HE EVADED THEM FOR QUITE SOME TIME. VOLKER MADE HIS WAY ONTO 283 AND INTO MANHEIM BORO BEFORE ENDING UP ON WEST LEXINGTON ROAD, RIGHT HERE IN PENN TOWNSHIP. NOW ON YOUR SCREEN IS THE SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE FROM WHEN VOLKER HIT. THAT MULCH ENDED UP GOING AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY UP AND THEN SMASHED INTO THE GROUND BEFORE SLIDING RIGHT HERE INTO THE FLOWER WAGON, CAUSING SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. NUMEROUS HOMEOWNERS IN THE AREA REPORTED SEEING AN UNKNOWN MAN ENTERING THEIR HOMES AND VEHICLES IN GARAGES, ALL CAUGHT ON SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
