ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Braves host the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, marking the 13th of 15 regular season games broadcast on Gray Media in 2025.
The Braves (65-79) continue the home series against the Cubs (81-63) after taking the first game 4-1 on Monday night.
The most recent Braves player to join the injured list is catcher Sean Murphy, who will undergo season-ending surgery Thursday on a right hip labral tear.
According to reports, the tear bothered Murphy for years, but he only told the Braves on Sunday.
The Cubs outfield could see multiple changes throughout the series. Pete Crow-Armstrong and Kyle Tucker are both expected to be back in the lineup during the series.
