TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball has officially been named as one of the four teams to participate in the 2026 Frisco College Baseball Classic, as announced by Peak Events on Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide, along with Houston, Iowa, and Oregon State, are all slated to participate in the round-robin tournament to be played at Riders Field, the home of the Texas Rangers’ Double-A affiliate, the Frisco RoughRiders.

Alabama will open its time in Frisco with a matchup against Iowa on Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. CT, as the Hawkeyes were 33-22-1 a season ago. The Feb. 27 meeting will represent the first pairing between the two schools.

The Tide’s Feb. 28 ballgame will see Alabama battle Oregon State at 4 p.m. CT. The Beavers were an impressive 48-16-1 last spring, earning a trip to the College World Series. The Feb. 28 tilt will also mark the first contest between the two programs.

Alabama is set to conclude the Frisco College Baseball Classic against Houston at 3 p.m. CT on March 1. The Cougars posted a 30-25 mark in 2025, as Alabama and Houston will share the diamond for the first time since 2016.

Tickets for the tournament can be purchased on a day-by-day basis in select seating sections with both reserved and general admission seating options available. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. All six games are set to be broadcast exclusively via D1Baseball.com.
