Following a strange 10-4 series opening win, the A’s are hoping to follow it up with an ordinary win. Or let’s face it, any kind of a win will do. The A’s enter play 65-77 needing just 5 wins to eclipse last year’s 69 win season and still with a longshot at .500 if they can go….16-4 down the stretch.
On the mound for the green and gold will be JT Ginn, he of the terrific numbers against RH batters (.186/.239/.359) and the “frightening to children and small animals” numbers against LH batters (.348/.421/.637).
