The Milwaukee Brewers begin the penultimate homestand of the season by hosting the St. Louis Cardinals in a three-game series Sept. 12-14 at American Family Field.

The Brewers’ magic number to clinch a playoff spot is down to two and it sits at 11 to win the NL Central Division.

The Brewers enter the series at 89-58 and hold a 5½-game lead over the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central and a two-game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies for the best record in the National League.

Milwaukee enters its series against the Cardinals having been swept by the Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas.
