Blaze Alexander hit a two-out, bases-loaded double as part of a three-run 10th inning as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Minnesota Twins 5-2 on Saturday.

After the Twins tied the game in the eighth, courtesy of a two-run single by first baseman Kody Clemens, the Diamondbacks and Twins went to extras following a scoreless ninth.

Gabriel Moreno was able to break through for Arizona in the 10th, knocking in the go-ahead run with a two-out infield single off Twins righty Cole Sands to give the D-backs a 3-2 lead. Alexander was able to add two important insurance runs with a line drive off the right field wall to make it a three-run game.
