Clippers improve to 60-78
Columbus brought out the big bats on Saturday, blasting three home runs including a grand slam from Kody Huff, who went 2-for-4 with five RBIs.

Johnathan Rodriguez also had a monster game, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and a walk to help carry the Clippers offense. Rodriguez had been red hot as of late and his impressive game raised his season OPS at Triple-A to .906.
Cooper Ingle reached base safely three times, going 2-for-3 with a walk while Petey Halpin and Yordys Valdes both doubled.
Starting pitcher Will Dion allowed a pair of runs (one earned) on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts in 3.2 innings. Parker Mushinski was outstanding, striking out three batters in a perfect 1.1 innings to earn the win.
Tristin McKenzie allowed one run in his lone inning of work and Tanner Burns, Trevor Stephan and Bradley Hanner all were incredible as they closed the game out with a combined 3.0 perfect innings with five strikeouts.

Akron RubberDucks 0, Harrisburg Senators 1 (F/10)
RubberDucks fall to 77-59
Akron outhit Harrisburg 5-2, but the RubberDucks couldn’t string any of those hits together on Saturday. Angel Genao had a good game, going 2-for-4. No one else reached base safely twice or had an extra base hit for the RubberDucks.
Akron’s anemic offense spoiled what had been a sensational pitching performance as Akron pitchers held Harrisburg to just one hit through nine innings. Dylan DeLucia pitched 3.0 no-hit innings with one strikeout to start the game. Magnus Ellerts gave up one hit in 2.0 scoreless frames.
Adam Tulloch pitched a scoreless inning with a pair of walks while Alaska Abney pitched a perfect inning and Davis Sharpe dominated with five strikeouts in 2.0 scoreless frames.

Unfortunately, Matt Jachec had an error take place and then gave up a hit in the bottom of the 10th inning, allowing the ghost runner to score the walk-off winner.
Lynchburg will begin the championship series for the Carolina League today against the Columbia Fireflies. Jacob Zibin is slated to start for the Hillcats.
