Penn State continues its hot streak on the recruiting trail for the Class of 2027.
Coach Mike Gambino and company earned a commitment from left-handed pitcher Ben Sclafani.

Sclafani features four pitches with an 11 mph speed difference between his fastball and offspeed pitches, per Prep Baseball Report.
The Bethesda, Maryland, native threw 48 innings, allowing just three earned runs while striking out 56 batters during his sophomore year. He pitched in both the semifinals and finals for Georgetown Prep en route to a championship.
Sclafani joins a consistently growing 2027 recruiting class that’ll first see time at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in the 2028 baseball season.
