Georgia will conclude its 2026 regular season with a trip to Auburn, its first since 2019. The Tigers were one of the SEC’s pleasant surprises in 2025, ending just behind Georgia at No. 6 in the conference standings after coaches projected them to finish 12th out of 16 teams.

Auburn is much more highly-respected this offseason with Baseball America listing it as the fifth-best team in its preseason top 25. The Tigers were tasked with replacing multiple star players, as they lost seven athletes to the MLB Draft. This series will likely have postseason implications attached to it, as both teams are seeking another top-eight national seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Note on fall practices: Georgia has already partaken in voluntary workouts, but it will begin official fall practice on Sept. 19 at Foley Field. The Bulldogs plan to have one scrimmage against another team — after going without last offseason due to practicing at Athens Academy — but the date and opponent are both still in progress. The college baseball season will begin on Feb. 13.
