FORT BELKNAP, Mont. – The U.S. Attorney’s Office District of Montana announced a man from Fort Belknap has been sentenced on assault charges.
Court documents revealed that on July 15, 2023, Jeremy Walker broke into a woman’s room and attacked her with a baseball bat, leading to her hospitalization. Walker pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury earlier this year in April.
This week, he was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of supervised release.
