Moshannon Valley’s Collin Dunlap has been named The Progress’ male Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 10.
Dunlap had a big game against Harmony, going 4-for-4 with five RBIs and two runs scored. He also pitched an inning, recording a strikeout. Against West Branch, he had a run scored and an RBI. He also recorded the save. In a win over Glendale, he had a hit, an RBI and scored a run. Dunlap also earned the win against Rockwood and had six strikeouts.
“Collin has a tremendous work ethic,” said Knights assistant coach Shane Hoover. “Every time he gets the bump, he puts us in every game. He’s a competitor, and truly a pitcher. It’s very nice to have as a freshman.”
