We get another Trey Yesavage start. Maybe we could score for the guy. It is a 2:00 Eastern game time.

So once again we can clinch a playoff spot with:

Or losses by all of the Tigers, Red Sox and Guardians.

Let’s just win.

It is a weird thing that an entire offense can go cold at the same time. The easy thing to guess is that the stress of the playoff race is getting to them, but they really aren’t in a playoff race. They are in. They are working their way towards making finishing first a question mark, but the playoff pressure is over.

I think, the best thing that could happen, is they clinch a playoff spot, go wild, drink, party and all, and hope it is a reset. Close down the bars in KC. Eat fatty barbecue and forget about baseball for a couple of hours.

I mean, if they lose again today, that’s my plan anyway.

This isn’t good.

Lineups: They are trying Varsho in the two-spot. I’m good with that.
