An NFL fan has become the male version of Phillies Karen after snatching a mall meant for Keenan Allen’s wife during the Chargers’ win over the Broncos on Sunday.
Allen, who made seven receptions for 65 yards and scored a game-tying touchdown, tossed a ball to his wife, Ciandra, after Justin Herbert found him in the end zone with less than three minutes left in the fourth quarter.
The wide receiver threw the ball to his spouse while celebrating, but a fan reached out in front of her to catch it, prompting her to grab him by the shoulder.
You can see the incident in the video below, which has gone viral on Twitter/X.

Allen was clearly unhappy about the interception and was seen pointing toward the male, whom we will refer to as “Chargers Ken” moving forward, given that the moment isn’t very dissimilar to the one involving the Phillies fan who bullied a kid into giving his home run ball up at a game a few weeks ago.
She has since gotten a $5K offer for her troubles, but remains unidentified.
As for Chargers Ken, he’s probably not going down in history the way Karen will, as he returned the ball to Ciandra shortly after. She confirmed as much via Instagram, also commenting on the post above, noting, “I got the ball. The camera didn’t show right after that lol.”
Buoyed by good luck from a certain female fan who has been sharing spicy gameday pics, the Chargers moved to 3-0 with a 23-20 win over Denver.
Allen has been a massive part of that, of course. The veteran wide receiver has recorded 19 catches for 194 yards and three touchdowns over the three victories.
He will be looking to ride the momentum into their upcoming game against the Giants, who fell to 0-3 in a loss to the Chiefs on Sunday night.
