The Raiders are hoping to bring back a state title to Peru.
Parkside Middle School’s baseball team is competing today in the Illinois Elementary School Association’s Class 2A state tournament. Parkside takes the diamond at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria at 2:30. The 13-2 Raiders take on 14-7 Teutopolis.
If Parkside wins their quarterfinal game, they’ll return to East Peoria Saturday morning for a 10 o’clock semifinal contest.
