Final series at Sutter Health Park caps historic first season for Athletics in West Sacramento

Friday marks the start of the final series of the Athletics baseball season at Sutter Health Park, where the Athletics will host the Kansas City Royals to close out a memorable first year in Sacramento.The season delivered a string of firsts, most notably dual home openers as the Athletics and the Triple-A River Cats shared one ballpark. By most accounts, the unusual arrangement ran smoothly for both clubs and the venue.
