THE EYEOPENER’S KATELYN GALEHOUSE IS LIVE OUTSIDE FENWAY PARK, AND CAITLIN SOX FANS ARE DEFINITELY EXCITED TO GET BACK INTO THE PLAYOFFS. YEAH, WELL, IT’S BEEN THREE LONG SEASONS SINCE THEY’VE BEEN ABLE TO CELEBRATE THIS, SO OCTOBER BASEBALL IS FINALLY BACK HERE IN BOSTON AND THE FANS ARE VERY, VERY EXCITED. THE WALK OFF VICTORY BOUNCING OFF THE GREEN MONSTER BROUGHT THE FANS AT FENWAY TO THEIR FEET, AND NOW THEY ARE VERY READY TO MAKE A RUN FOR THE WORLD SERIES. TOTALLY WORTH IT. For the first time in 4 years, the Boston Red Sox are going back to the postseason. The Fenway faithful was out in droves following Friday night’s Red Sox 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers.The win ensures the Sox will be playing baseball in October, but their playoff opponent still remains a mystery.Boston will play either the Toronto Blue Jays or the New York Yankees in a 3-game wild card series depending on how the rest of the season shakes out.
