The 2025 MLB postseason schedule is less than 48 hours away from starting. What are the MLB playoff start times, dates and TV channels?
Entering Game 162 Sunday, the last day of the regular season, we know 11 of the 12 teams that will be competing for the World Series.
We know the six American League teams, though the playoff seeds are in flux, outside of the Seattle Mariners as the 2-seed (with a bye into the ALDS).
In the National League, the Cincinnati Reds are one win away from clinching the final playoff berth. A Reds loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, plus a New York Mets win at the Miami Marlins would give the Mets the 6-seed.
We already know the dates for every MLB playoff game, but the start times and TV channels are just beginning to be released.
Here’s what we know about the MLB postseason schedule so far. This section will be updated as game times are announced.

AL playoff picture
The AL playoff teams are set, but the seeds have yet to be secured, outside of the Mariners at No. 2. The Detroit Tigers could finish as the 3-seed, 5-seed or 6-seed. The Nos. 1 and 2 seeds earn a bye into the next round.

The New York Mets (83-78) are the first team out, losing the tiebreaker to the Cincinnati Reds. A Mets win Sunday at Miami and Reds loss at Milwaukee is the Mets’ only way into the playoffs.

The MLB playoffs start with four games Tuesday in the best-of-three wild-card round.
The ALDS is best-of-five, the ALCS is best-of-seven and the World Series is best-of-seven hosted by the team with the better record.
