The regular season for Major League Baseball is officially over, October baseball is around the corner, and the oddsmakers are calling their shots. DraftKings just dropped their World Series odds, and while the Phillies (+425), Mariners (+500), and Dodgers (+500) are looking like front-runners, what about the Cubs? They’re in the mix, but just barely.
Cubs’ 2025 World Series Odds Revealed
The North Siders are +1400 to win it all, tied with the Padres and behind the Brewers (+800), Blue Jays (+800), and even the Yankees (+700). Cutting to the chase, DraftKings doesn’t see the Cubs going on a 2016-style run in 2025.

How Chicago’s Odds Compare to MLB Favorites
It’s not a total disaster, though. A +1400 line means there’s a little juice if you’re willing to put your money where your fandom is. As in, $100 and you’re walking away with $1400 if the Cubs somehow manage to pull it off. Not too bad considering DraftKings is calling them a long shot to win it all.

National League Favored in 2025 Championship
The National League is the favorite overall to win the World Series at -130, while the American League comes in at +110. So, yeah, oddsmakers think the World Series champs are going to come from the same league as the Cubs, just not the Cubs themselves.
