For the second season in a row, Auburn baseball will face strong competition inside a Major League Baseball stadium.

Globe Life Park, home of the Texas Rangers, announced on Wednesday their slate of college baseball games for the upcoming season and will host Auburn for the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series for the weekend of Feb. 20-22. The Tigers will face Kansas State, Florida State, and Louisville as part of the headlining weekend.

Auburn will open the weekend on Friday, Feb. 20, against Kansas State for a 7 p.m. CT first pitch. The Wildcats won 32 games last season and played three games in the Austin Regional, hosted by Texas. On Saturday, Auburn will face a fellow NCAA Super Regional squad in Florida State. The Seminoles finished last season with 42 wins and forced a game three with Oregon State in the Corvallis Super Regional before dropping a 14-10 game to the Beavers. Finally, Auburn will face its stiffest competition of the weekend by facing Louisville, which fell to Coastal Carolina in the College World Series semifinals last season.

This is the first non-conference reveal of the season for Auburn baseball, with the remainder of its non-conference slate to be released at a later date. The Tigers will face the likes of Missouri, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Georgia in SEC play beginning Friday, March 13, in Columbia, Missouri.
