The Dodgers roster for the National League Division Series against the Phillies has a few changes from their roster for the wild card series, but not with the structure. Los Angeles enters the NLDS with 15 position players and 11 pitchers, the same split as the shorter previous round.

Clayton Kershaw was added to the roster and will be used in relief during the NLDS. Left-hander Anthony Banda is also back active against a Phillies team on which five of their top nine players in plate appearances this season bat left-handed. Justin Wrobleski and Edgardo Henriquez are off the roster, after being active in the wild card series.

That means three catchers again as the Dodgers fold Will Smith back into action, and having backups Justin Dean and Hyeseong Kim to account for Tommy Edman’s right ankle possibly limiting him to second base again and perhaps limiting his time as well.
