The Wild Card round definitely lived up to its namesake, but now the stage is set for the Division Series. This best-of-five round features two actual division rivals matchups, with the Cubs moving north to face the Brewers. Meanwhile, the Yankees staved off the Red Sox to now move north to Canada to take on the Blue Jays’ impressive offense. The Dodgers made quick work of the Reds in the last round but will now face a familiar postseason foe in Bryce Harper and the Phillies. Finally, the Tigers will have to find a way to win against an impressive Mariners lineup and immaculate pitching.

Of course, the talking point that will come from this series is how the teams that had the first-round bye will perform. Having roughly a week off has been a hot debate the last few years, and once again, it will be put to the test for some of the best in baseball this season.
