The Philadelphia Phillies host the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of one of the most highly-anticipated division series in MLB history.

While the star-studded Dodgers try to become baseball’s first repeat champion in a quarter-century, the Phillies earned a bye to the NLDS by running away with the NL East behind a historic season from slugger Kyle Schwarber.

Shohei Ohtani will make his first career postseason pitching appearance in the opener in front of a frenzied crowd at Citizens Bank Park.

“They’re known to be very passionate fans,” Ohtani said a day before Game 1. “The atmosphere, I’m sure, is going to be passionate and rocking, as well. And one thing I do know is that they serve really good (Philly) cheesesteaks at the clubhouse.”
