Seiya Suzuki homered in his fourth straight game, Javier Assad pitched shutout ball into the sixth inning and the playoff-bound Chicago Cubs beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 Sunday for a three-game series sweep to close out the regular season. Suzuki hit five homers and drove in 10 runs in his last four games. Moises Ballesteros added an RBI single for the Cubs (92-70), who finished as the top NL wild card.
