The Milwaukee Brewers’ 9-3 blowout victory over the Chicago Cubs in the teams’ National League Division Series Game 1 matchup at American Family Field on Oct. 4 was one to remember.

Playing in unseasonable and near-record heat in front of a sellout crowd of 42,678, the Brewers put up all nine of their runs in the first two innings against Cubs starter Matthew Boyd and reliever Michael Soroka and cruised the rest of the way to their first victory in a postseason Game 1 since defeating the Atlanta Braves, 2-1, in the 2021 NLDS.
