Tennessee baseball is keeping the excitement alive this fall, and fans showed out to prove it. The Vols’ recent scrimmage in Chattanooga drew an enthusiastic crowd, leaving head coach Tony Vitello pleasantly surprised.
“Yeah, it was surprising and how great the crowd it was,” Vitello said. “They were enthusiastic, into the game, and most stayed until the very end. Our guys kept them on the edge of their seat all the way through — which was nice.”
The Big Orange are coming off their fifth consecutive NCAA Super Regional appearance and are once again expected to be among the SEC’s best this upcoming season. With a mix of veteran talent and exciting newcomers, Tennessee is looking to continue its winning tradition on the diamond.
Fans will get another chance to see the Vols in action as they continue fall workouts and scrimmages leading into the 2026 season.
