Happy Monday morning to you all. Actually, let’s rewind that. Nothing is great about a Monday morning, well, except for the Weekend Roundup.
Yes, another weekend has come and gone, but we have a lot to dissect before we pretend to know what we’re doing at our jobs for another week.

Let’s catch up on all the action from a jam-packed sports weekend.
Undefeated No More
The Philadelphia Eagles were one of two undefeated teams in the NFL heading into Week 5. Thanks to the Denver Broncos, Eagles fans are waking up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
The Broncos stunned the Eagles in their own home, proving that anything can happen on any given Sunday. Speaking of anything happening, the other undefeated team would go down as well.
Crashed Wagons
The New England Patriots walked into Buffalo and walked out with a massive statement win over the Buffalo Bills. It was a sloppy game, and it was the kind of game that worked in favor of the underdog. Are the Patriots back?
New Owner Of The Yankees
The MLB Postseason is heating up, and the Toronto Blue Jays let the New York Yankees know that the road to the ALCS isn’t going to be an easy one.
The Blue Jays treated their first two games of the ALDS against the Yankees like batting practice. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is having a historic start to the playoffs, and his Blue Jays are one game away from sending the Yankees to Cancun.

This Ain’t Your Daddy’s Big Ten
The obituary had already been written for the UCLA football program prior to what many expected would be a blowout at the hands of the Penn State Nittany Lions.
However, the Bruins were not ready to be put out to pasture just yet. The Bruins pulled off the biggest upset of the college football weekend, and reminded us all that James Franklin may have hit his ceiling at Happy Valley.

Never Before
The Arizona Cardinals just suffered perhaps the most hilarious loss in NFL history
– 21-6 4th quarter lead

The Arizona Cardinals may have suffered the worst loss in NFL history on Sunday. The Cardinals blew a 21-6 lead in the most bizarre fashion, and if I knew anyone who cheered for them, I would check in on them today. An absolutely brutal way to lose.
Swifting The Night Away
Dread it. Run from it. New Taylor Swift music arrives all the same. In all seriousness, I’m not afraid to crank it up to 11 when “Wildest Dreams” drops on the radio. On Friday, Swift fans got a new album, and everyone but Purdue football fans was thrilled by the bops.

That is all he wrote for the Weekend Roundup. We’ve got some “Monday Night Football” to hold us over until next week, which includes Mr. Swift’s Kansas City Chiefs in action.
