A fan attending Game 1 of the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs NLDS game was apparently dragged out of the stadium in handcuffs.

The Brewers defeated the Cubs, 9-3, in Game 1. Game 2 of the National League Divisional Series is scheduled for tonight. While the Brewers got the big win in Game 1, it was a Cubs fan who caused the biggest scene, at least in the stands.

Reports out of Miller Park in Milwaukee claim that a crazy Cubs fan was dragged out of the ballpark in handcuffs, following an apparent incident in the stands. He was in the 100 level of the ballpark.

One report suggested that the fan got into it with a kid, though it’s unverified.

“Hey all, I was sitting right next to these guys and all their friends. From first pitch they were just hammered and giving everyone around them a hard time. At one point a fan sitting directly in front of them got up and yelled at them to stop whatever they were doing and both cubs and brewers fans had to tell them to sit down on multiple occasions,” a fan posted on Reddit following the game.

“I am seeing claims that one of them assaulted a 10 year old and from my angle and closeness to the situation I can’t say with certainty that it did or did not happen; however, this situation with security and the officers started after drinks were they threw drinks at a cop. Again, I don’t want to speak for what happened but I’m not too sure that a child was involved in this. Sorry if I am wrong and as a cubs fan myself I apologize on their behalf. Just embarrassing and despicable behavior.”

The Brewers dominated the game from the start, jumping on the Cubs with six runs in the first inning. It was a long day for Chicago – apparently too long for one of their fans.

Video of the alleged incident in the stands has gone viral.

Fans don’t understand why it gets this crazy in Milwaukee when the Brewers take on the Cubs.

“I just don’t get it. I’ve been to Wrigley multiple times for Brewers games and it’s never like this. I get games here are usually more affordable/easier to access but I know it wasn’t cheap getting those seats for today’s gam,” one fan wrote.

“Cardinals fans show up in good numbers in Milwaukee and it’s not like this, same with the Twins and White Sox.”
