WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – In Williamson County, John A Logan College is celebrating the completion of its new state-of-the-art indoor baseball and softball training facility.
The Harrison-Bruce Player Development Center has been years in the making at John A. Logan College.
The new 12,000 square foot training facility is expected to help with recruitment and give the baseball and softball teams a new temperature-controlled environment to prepare for upcoming seasons.
The center includes state-of-the-art locker rooms, pitching lanes, and batting facilities.
The project was made possible through a donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation.
Players say they are excited for their first practice that doesn’t put them outside in those upcoming frigid winter temperatures.
