The Los Angeles Angels used an interesting graphic to announce that manager Ron Washington will not be back for the 2026 season.
The graphic features two pictures of Washington, and he is up in the clouds, leaving fans to fear the worst.

The comments from the post were filled with fans being afraid that Ron Washington has died.
“Why does this look like a death announcement photo,” one fan said.
Added another: ”Good grief with that graphic; I thought he passed away.”
Yet another fan posted: “That graphic is crazy, I thought he became an Angel.”
Ron Washington was the manager for the Angels for the past two years. However, he missed most of this past season due to health issues.
The 73-year-old also spent 10 years playing Major League Baseball, playing for the Dodgers, Twins, Orioles, Indians and Astros during his career.
He finished his career hitting .260 with 20 home runs and 145 RBIs in 564 games.
In addition to the Angels, Ron Washington was also the manager of the Texas Rangers from 2007-2014. He also spent time on staff with the Athletics and Braves.
The Angels have yet to name a replacement for Washington.
