SEATTLE — Alaska Airlines, the official airline sponsor of the Mariners, has been actively facilitating fans’ travel to playoff games this postseason.

The airline has announced an additional flight to Toronto, departing at 7:18 a.m. Sunday.

This follows a previous flight from Seattle to Toronto on the Mariners aircraft, which took off at 9:18 a.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, the Mariners advanced to the AL Championship Series by outlasting the Detroit Tigers for a 3-2 victory in the longest winner-take-all postseason game in baseball history.

The game was a huge deal; the Mariners advanced to the ALCS for the first time since 2001.

Next up is a matchup with the AL East champion Blue Jays, beginning on Sunday night in Toronto.

Fans who want to support the team in Canada have several airlines to choose from when booking flights out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Alaska Airlines has been the official partner of the Mariners since 2001.

The airline expressed pride in the team’s recent achievements:” As the official airline sponsor of the Mariners, we couldn’t be prouder of this amazing team.”
