The season is over and it was done so bitterly. When seasons end like the way the Phillies had their season end, there is a tendency to bask only in the negativity of it all. That’s fine, especially since the initial reaction of it is rather different than the last three endings.
However, there was a lot of good that happened in 2025. This is a team that increased their season win total yet again and blew away the competition in the National League East. They gave the Dodgers all they could handle in the NLDS. They were arguably one of the three best teams in the game and just happened to play one of the other two in a playoff series.
