Major League Baseball on Sunday announced the umpires for the League Championship Series around. For the NLCS between the Dodgers and Brewers, the crew chief of the umpires is James Hoye
Here are the umpire assignments for Game 1 of the NLCS on Monday night in Milwaukee:
Home plate: John Libka
First base: James Hoye
Second base: Adam Beck
Third base: Vic Carapazza
Left field: Chad Fairchild
Right fielder: Mark Ripperger
Reserve: Gabe Morales
There are seven umpires and six positions filled in every game, such that every umpire will be each position once each, and each umpire would get a day off should the NLCS go the distance. Gabe Morales will be the reserve umpire in Game 1, and work home plate in game 2.
Alex MacKay, Bill Miller and David Rackley will be the replay officials for the League Championship Series round.
