After putting their recent postseason failures in the past, the Milwaukee Brewers are off to the National League Championship Series which starts with Game 1 of the best-of-seven series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, Oct. 13, at American Family Field.

The Brewers advanced by winning their first playoff series since 2018, beating the Chicago Cubs, 3-1, on the strength of three solo home runs and great pitching in the decisive Game 5 of the NL Division round.

This will be the third meeting between the Brewers and Dodgers in the postseason with Los Angeles winning the two prior meetings, including the 2018 NLCS. 

While the favored Dodgers have announced that lefty Blake Snell will take the mound to start Game 1, Brewers manager Pat Murphy has yet to name the Brewers starter for the game.

Murphy did say the Freddy Peralta will get the nod to start Game 2 on Oct. 14.
