Enough! Enough! Enough!

I know I’ve been down this path so often I’ve worn it to a highway, but in the fading light of sweet mercy, enough!

How can Fox possibly be so detached from a major sport, an expensive deal and the best interests of its audience, advertisers and mental health advocates, than to have John Smoltz, for 10 years and counting, continue to destroy every MLB telecast he works.

From spring through the postseason, Smoltz’s dreary but inexhaustible examination of every pitch just thrown and his sense of the kind of pitch that should next be thrown long ago became a warning to avoid MLB on Fox no matter how attractive the game might seem.
