BATON ROUGE, La. — Tiger fans are invited to celebrate with the LSU baseball team as they receive their National Championship rings.
LSU’s 2025 baseball team will receive its rings Saturday, Oct. 25, during a ceremony at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center before the LSU-Texas A&M football game.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:45 p.m. Central, following the team’s walk down Victory Hill at 4:15 p.m. Fans are invited to attend the event free of charge.
Led by National Coach of the Year Jay Johnson, the Tigers captured the 2025 NCAA College World Series National Championship, marking the program’s second title in three years and its eighth since 1991. In his fourth season at LSU, Johnson became the fastest coach in NCAA baseball history to win multiple College World Series championships at a single school.
The Tigers finished the 2025 season with a 53-15 record, ending on an eight-game winning streak that included a two-game sweep of Coastal Carolina in the College World Series Finals on June 21–22.
LSU’s pitching staff, led by All-America right-handers Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson, ranked No. 1 nationally in total strikeouts with 760. The team also finished No. 4 in strikeouts per nine innings (11.7), No. 6 in hits allowed per nine innings (7.27), and No. 7 in team ERA (3.73). Anderson led the nation with 180 strikeouts, while Eyanson ranked third with 152. Reliever Casan Evans earned All-America honors with five wins, seven saves, and a 2.05 ERA.
Nine players from the 2025 roster were selected in the MLB Draft, including four in the first three rounds: Anderson (1st round, Seattle Mariners), Chase Shores (2nd round, Los Angeles Angels), Eyanson (3rd round, Boston Red Sox), and outfielder Ethan Frey (3rd round, Houston Astros).
