The Los Angeles Dodgers have an update on southpaw reliever Tanner Scott as he recovers from an abscess incision that required a minor procedure. Scott didn’t have the best regular season, but can potentially be healthy enough to make his postseason debut in the World Series.

In other news, the Dodgers reportedly offered former starting pitcher Walker Buehler a sizable contract this past offseason. The man who tossed the final out of the World Series ended up inking a deal with the Boston Red Sox to start the 2024 campaign, and ended his season as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Finally, utility star Kiké Hernández sent a message to fans as the Dodgers’ return to the Fall Classic looms. Hernández has the second-most appearances in the postseason in Dodgers franchise history, trailing Justin Turner by one game.

The LA Dodgers invested heavily in Shohei Ohtani.

$700 million over 10 years, to be exact.

That investment paid off REAL QUICK.

According to former ESPN reporter Joon Lee, the Dodgers already made the $700M back in Shohei’s first year with the team.
