Game #7 it is! We didn’t get one at all last season: the previous instance was in the 2023 Championship Series, when both iterations went the distance. You may remember the last time it happened, it being the NL version. 🙂 For in that, the D-backs beat the Phillies in their own ballpark. Indeed, both road teams won their games, Texas prevailing in Houston one night later. We’ll see if that is any kind of omen for tonight. To find a home team winning an MLB Game #7, you need to go back to the shortened 2020 season, when the Rays and Dodgers took the victory in their Championship Series. Should be a fun one: neither side has ever won a Game #7!
