The Los Angeles Dodgers are aiming for consecutive World Series titles as they face the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series.

The Dodgers recently claimed the World Series title in 2024 by defeating the New York Yankees. In a dramatic Game 5 of the series, the Dodgers, who were down by five runs, mounted a remarkable comeback to eventually win the game 7-6, handing the Yankees a tough loss. This victory capped off a successful season in which the Dodgers achieved a record of 98 wins.

Last year’s championship marked the Dodgers’ first title since 2000. The team defeated the Tampa Bay Rays at a neutral site during a shortened season, described as the most unusual year, which occurred at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the first World Series in 1903, the Dodgers have carved their name in history, claiming eight titles in their franchise history. The Dodgers’ title wins came in 1955, 1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988, 2000 and 2024.
